  My kitty is having kittens soon and Im stressing about it. Advice?

  like i dont have enough going on right now...my kitty is expecting and im not sure when she actually got pregnant but im thinking her due date might be around 5/10.

  i have read online a bit about the process and i hope she can handle this.

  i made a secure and private kittening box for her and she seems to like it in there with ripped up rags she can pile up into a nest.

  she will probably get real nervous and restless right before birth.

  Leave her alone and she will be fine, I grew up on a farm, over the years I saw 100's of kittens being born and they, and their mothers always

  Hmm this could be tricky - I am going to a JW wedding.

  yes a close family member of mine is getting married next weekend and me and mrs scotsman have been invited.. to set the scene - i have not been to a meeting in 2 years, 2 months and for mrs scotsman it is just under 2 years - so we have not seen any of our ex jw associates since then - but they will all be at the wedding!!!!.

  we are not dad or dfd so they will be able to talk to us if they feel the urge.. the good thing is we are not the only ex jws/non jws going, so this will help.. the worry i have is what some of these jws might try.

  for many of them, the last time they seen me i was an elder flying the wt flag - now i am out the truth dead at armageddon!.

  fyi : my wife and i each sent a da letter to the org, and our hall one an a half years ago.. we were done with this religion completely .

  this morning at 10:45 a jw appeared at our door, we invited him in and he said the org.

  had a "loving arrangment" in which persons who left.

  WOW, thank you for all the comments, I really appreciate every one of them !

  Now that I've somewhat calmed down, I was thinking of a way to continue on the "loving provision" theme,

  I realized that after we DA'ed ourselves, there were many rumours swirling around as to what happened, and what we were doing.

  I was thinking how it would have been to write letters to several individuals in the hall explaining why we did leave,

  (no,, we did not become heathenist pagans who drink blood and worship satan )

  Mail them out in a random order, different dates and also explain to the person how much we appreciate their friendship over the years, and the societies current "provision" but there are some questions that we feel need to be answered and this letter is a "provision from my wife and I.

  Make one or two small comments, but keep it upbeat so that they cannot look between the lines, make up their own story, and become locked in their minds that everyone who leaves the truth is miserable,(guess what, we are actually doing quite well in the spirituality department)

  Hopefully it might clear up any questions,comments, or rumours that have been floating around.

  And then, write to the headquarters in NY, and the elder body explaining that we wrote our DA letters for a reason,,,, because we no longer wanted to be associated with the Jw religion, and did not want, or expect to be called on each year to see if we are interested in returning.

  In other words don't call us, we'll call you.

  And while they consider their visits to be "loving" We found it to be very ignorant regarding our long time in coming, well thought out decision to leave the religion.

  So would they lovingly return our publisher cards, and any information that they have regarding my wife and I to hopefully prevent these visits from occuring in the future ?

  Is this reasonable, or could it just be a pipe dream of mine ?

  wt cruelty to sickly older jw's in field service yesterday

  yesterday i went to the local mc donalds for breakfast and sat next to the window closest to the sidewalk.

  and see a tribe of jw's heading to the kingdum hall about a mile away.

  what caught my eye was an older jw using a walker cane and stopping about every 10 feet.

  The Hideous Delusional Governing Body In Denial

  as the years go by the governing body become more and more delusional, and obviously in a state of denial as they suppress any clear cut truth that comes before their consciousness which would show them their error.. they live in a fantasy world of god and demon,, where hard facts are shoved in to the shadows in favor of lopsided reasoning heavily biased to keep their positions of power over the gullible faithful.

  they know not their real selves for the masks they wear have become to them their real persona, they are out of touch with themselves, with the world around them and they have become hollow, a mask with nothing inside.. there can be very little that is truly spiritual about them just a hollow mask wearer with no insides.

  even though thousands may die from complications induced by a blood ban decreed by them they feel no pain in their consciences because the delusion they live is too great to face the facts of the misery they have caused for so many.. this delusion leaves them barely conscious for them to wake up out of it would be unbearable.

  This morning at 10:45 a JW appeared at our door, we invited him in and he said the org. had a "loving arrangment" in which persons who left

  would be visited each year. (None of the elders we knew, or spoke to during our transition time could make the effort to stop by, they used a new

  person)

  he sat down and asked how we were feeling since leaving the JW religion, and for the next hour my wife and him got in a serious discussion about

  broadening our minds, meaning looking past the WT belief system and "enlarging" our world.

  Well, he told us his experiences, and his deep religious studies, and how he came up to the conclusion that the truth is only taught by JW's everyone else has false doctines.

  He stated how loving the congregation is, and how nice it would be if we returned (excuse me we WROTE a letter and da'ed ourselves, what part of that do you not understand)?

  To make a long story short,,,, he appeared to be a real answer man, he had a personal experience and WT related answer for everything.

  When he left he was wondering if we wanted a return visit, I said no thank you, I'm done.

  Boy am I stressed out, dont these people understand that we left, ?????

  Why are jw children so parent depended?

  i have seen many jw teens who can't behave properly in the outside world or won't go out alone unless they give detailed report to their families.in addition,they give the impression that they can't be on their own unless dad or mom is near them.correct me if i'm wrong but that's what i think.....

  and if the children actually go out and do something by themselves (such as attending, and graduating from college, or buying a house) and they succeed, nothing is said.

  But if something goes wrong, "OH joy, see how Jehovah disciplines you if you try and do things by yourself"? I've seen this many, many times.

  I personally knew one sister who was in her 40's, she got divoriced and went to college. her mother and family actually told her it was a bad idea since the end was sooo close .

  Her job paid a large chunk of the tuition, and she got a bachelors degree in Human Resources.

  The grief that this lady put up with from her family was sickening and after she got her degree nothing was said about it.

  I spoke to her apostate ex husband later, and he mentioned that one of the main reasons he left is because of the constant influence from her

  helicopter family.

  In my old hall you were marked by several elders Renfrow was the leader,) if you dared to be a male and become a teenager !

  Suddenly you were "sex crazed" and every trick in the book was used to degrade you ,,, unless you were a pioneer.

  And if you were interested in playing music together, oh boy, I noticed several times this guy literally blow up at teenagers for actually daring

  to play together !
